Conway, South Carolina

Known as the "Gateway to the Grand Strand," the historic town of Conway is located West of Myrtle Beach as the junction of U.S. 501 and U.S. 701. Situated along the Waccamaw River, Conway was established in 1734 as the seat of Horry County. Don't miss an opportunity to visit the Horry County Museum, which is located in a converted post office adjacent to the Historic District of downtown Conway. The Horry County Museum features historical exhibits relating to Horry County and monthly exhibits by local artists.
